NovaroomYour people.
One room.
Novaroom is a Windows chat app for annotators, raters, and prompt writers. Join a topic room, or start a direct chat or a small group. Sign in with your email and a one-time code. No password to remember.
Help is a message away.
Questions come up in the middle of the work. Novaroom puts your leadership team, your teammates, and people doing the same kind of work in one app, so you get an answer and get back to it.
Leadership in the same app
Your leads use Novaroom too. They can message you directly for support, a check-in, or an answer, and you reply in the same chat.
Know who to ask
People lists everyone by role, Leadership included, with a dot that shows who is online right now.
Ask the room
Post a question in a topic room and hear from trainers who do the same kind of work.
Keeps going offline
Local chat works with people on the same network, even when the internet is down.
The break room you work from.
Training work is often done alone. Novaroom puts the people doing the same work one click away, in an app that stays out of your way until someone writes.
Topic rooms
Join a room about the work you do and ask the people who do it too. Rooms are open to anyone signed in.
Direct chats and small groups
Take a conversation one to one, or pull a few people into a group. Only members can read it.
Profiles that say what you know
A photo, a status, your role, and tags for your skills, languages, and domains, so people find the right person.
Files up to 25 MB
Drop in a guide, a checklist, or a screenshot of your own notes. Deleting a message deletes its file too.
Block and report
Block someone and their messages disappear for you. Report a message and it goes to people who review it.
Stays in the tray
Close the window and Novaroom keeps running. New messages show a Windows notification and a count on the taskbar.
Talk shop. Keep the tasks out.
Most trainers work under an NDA. Novaroom is for talking about the craft, not for pasting client tasks or data. The message box reminds you, and anyone can report a message that looks like a leak.
Not end-to-end encrypted
Messages are stored so your chats keep their history. Novawave can access them to review reports.
Reports
Choose harassment, spam, leak, or other. Reviewers see a copy of the message, even if it’s deleted later.
Delete anytime
Delete a message and its text and file are gone. Delete your account from your profile.
The people behind the data.
Annotators
Ask before you guess
Check an edge case with people who have labeled the same kind of data.
Raters
Compare notes on the rubric
Talk through what a guideline means without leaving your desk.
Prompt writers
Trade what works
Share approaches, find people in your domain, and keep the conversation going.
